Principal's Message

Dear Swift-Slaybaugh Families,

What an interesting week for weather, starting our with summer-like temperatures and ending on Thursday night with snow showers! March never ceases to surprise us each year. This week we held our SSC Wings Family BINGO Night event for our K-1 students and their siblings. It was nice to see so many families in attendance. Our Spring Book Fair began in both buildings on Friday and will be continuing through next Thursday. Your child will be visiting the book fair on their regularly scheduled library day. We look forward to seeing those of you who are coming in to shop with them! Have a wonderful weekend.

Miss Seashore Line Teen

Ms. Schaffer, Miss Seashore Line Teen, came in to read to Mrs. Cortellessa and Mrs. Laut's kindergarten class. She also brought in treats for the children. They enjoyed her visit!

Family BINGO Night

On Wednesday night, our SSC Wings organization held Family BINGO Night for our kindergarten and first grade students and their siblings. It was great to see so many families in attendance. We had a lot of excited winner! Thank you again to Wings, our staff volunteers, and all of the families who attended.
