Principal's Message

Dear Swift-Slaybaugh Families,

I hope everyone has been staying warm during this frigid weather! A big thank you to our custodial staff and facilities department for all of their hard work to ensure that our schools were clear and safe for our staff and students to return on Wednesday. They did an excellent job and we appreciate their efforts. As you know, due to this week's weather, conferences have been moved to next week. The idea is that parents are welcome to keep their same day/time for next week. If you have any scheduling conflicts, your child's homeroom teacher will work with you to find a new time.

Conferences for Grades K - 3rd are now as follows:

Monday, February 2, 2026
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Tuesday, February 3, 2026
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Wednesday, February 4, 2026
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Thursday, February 5, 2026
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

I hope everyone has a nice weekend and we look forward to seeing many of you at conferences next week, and also at the dances!

Sincerely,
Rachel Casumpang
Principal

Student Achievment

Wild About Reading!

Congratulations to Mrs. Zaccagnino's and Mrs. Bralski's classes. They read the most minutes in school for the month of December. Winter is a great time to cuddle up with a good book in school AND at home!
The top readers for December are Ella Fishbein in 2nd Grade and Adronicus Luminding in 3rd grade.  Congratulations to both students for being WILD about reading!  Remember, at home reading can be done by students, with students, or to students. ALL reading counts!!!
